Mother Goose on the Loose

Children (from birth to 23 months) and a caregiver are invited to join us for this interactive program. Children will enjoy songs, rhymes, a book and more while developing important pre-literacy skills.

MGOL

On Friday, 10/19/12, Miss Karin will be found in her Children's room at 11:15am gearing up for her Mother Goose on the Loose program.  It is for babies, ages birth to 23 months, along with their caregiver.  In this half hour interactive program they will hear, stories, songs, and finger plays.  It is a lot of fun and good for their motor and cognitive skills.

MGOL

















MGOL was on April 14, 2010. This is program for babies and toddlers, 6 to 23 months, accompanied by their caregivers. They participate in a fun, interactive, 30 minute nursery rhyme program filled with rhymes, books, songs, and movement. This program aids in literacy development.

Miss Karin focused on the letter C this week.

Books used: Colors by Emily Bolam
A Child's Good Morning by Margaret Wise Brown

Nursery Rhyme used: "Two little dickeybirds sitting on a cloud. One named "Soft", the other named "Loud." Fly away Soft! Fly away Loud! Come back Soft! Come back Loud!" by Barbara Cass-Beggs

MGOL






Mother Goose on the Loose is a program for babies and toddlers 6 to 23 months old. Accompanied by their caregiver babies and toddlers participate in a fun interactive 30 minute nursery rhyme program filled with rhymes, books, songs, and movement. This program aids in literacy development.

This week Ms. Karin focused on the Letter A.

A finger play used is "Goosey, goosey gander, where do you wander? Upstairs, and downstairs, and in the lady's chamber."
